Kumail Ali Nanjiani is a Pakistani-American comedian and actor. He is recognized for his role as Dinesh on the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley, as well as the film The Big Sick. As a writer, he and his wife received the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
