Kyle Griffin is an American writer and producer for MSNBC who is currently the producer of The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, an hour-long weekday political news and commentary show. He resides in the Manhattan borough of New York.
He enrolled and graduated from Santa Rosa College in Albany, New York in 2008, where he majored in Communication and English. Kyle also has a degree in MPS from The George Washington University in Strategic Public Relations, Class of 2010.
Kyle began his career as a production assistant on WNYT from 2006 to 2008 in Albany, New York. He then moved to MSNBC for 7 months. After that, he served on NBC News as an associate producer for NBC News. Between 2009 and 2012, he served as a producer on MSNBC. In 2012, he resigned and moved to Australia to work at Yahoo. He then went on to freelance for Seven Network in Sydney as a producer before being promoted to senior producer.
In 2015 he returned to the US and worked at MSNBC as a producer on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell. It also addresses issues that affect the LGBTQ community. He is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump on Twitter.
