Lauren Moss is an American journalist who currently serves as a news anchor for WNDU-TV in South Bend, Indiana. Previously, Moss worked for nearly five years as a reporter and weekend morning news anchor at KWWL, NBC’s East Iowa affiliate.
A Chicago native, Lauren graduated from the University of Iowa with a dual major in journalism and sports studies. Her tenure as Hawkeye facilitated an exciting career in broadcast journalism. Additionally, while there, Moss worked for the Iowa campus television station “Daily Iowan TV” as a weekly news and sports anchor.
She also organized several activities on campus, such as the Dance Marathon, which won her first place for “Outstanding Anchoring Performance” from the Iowa Broadcast News Association. Additionally, Lauren interned for Big Ten Network Student U and hosted her own entertainment show called “Inside Iowa”, talking about current events on campus.
Immediately after graduation, Moss worked at KWWL, an NBC affiliate in East Iowa, for nearly five years. She started out as a multimedia journalist and has been part of several Emmy Award-winning newscasts. In her first year there, she was promoted to weekend morning anchor.
