Leslie Marshall is an American journalist and television host who has currently served as a liberal radio host since 1988. Marshall has also been a commentator on national television since 2001. She became the youngest syndicated radio host after replacing Tom Snyder on ABC Satelite Radio. Network in 1992. Additionally, she is the first woman to present an object-oriented program nationwide.
Leslie hosts The Leslie Marshall Show, distributed nationally, while still serving as a Fox News contributor and blogging weekly for US News & World Report as well as POLITICO. She has been a radio host for 23 years and currently hosts a syndicated show hosted by TalkUSA Radio.
Marshall began his broadcasting career as a radio reporter in Boston. She then moved to Miami, Florida to work in radio and television. While in Miami, Leslie worked on news, traffic, weather and disc jockey. One night, while hosting a nostalgic late-night music show, Leslie did a special hour of “Remembrance” in which veterans connected with her experiences.
After many years as an anchor, reporting and hosting music shows, Leslie moved to radio. She began her radio speaking career at the WNWS in Miami, where she worked for three years. She followed up with midday shows at the WGR in Buffalo, then at midday at the KPRC in Houston. In 1992, she replaced Tom Snyder on the ABCSatelite Radio Network. Her program ran for three years on over 200 stations across the country.

However, the network disbanded after three years, and Marshall moved to Chicago to take up a new job at WLS-FM, hosting an afternoon talk show. Her next step was that she joined KGO Radio in San Francisco and hosted a midday show at KHTK in Sacramento. On television, Leslie hosted “Bay Talk” on KRON-TV, NBC’s local Bay City affiliate.
Two years later, Leslie returned to Chicago on the WLS and co-hosted “Beyond the Beltway” on WGR-TV and remained in Chicago for over two years. She then joined her husband in Los Angeles. Furthermore, she hosted talk shows on KFI, KLSX and KABC radio on weekends and finally signed with KLAC.
After KLAC turned to music, Leslie hosted her own show for a year at WWKB in Buffalo, New York, a 50,000-watt powerhouse heard throughout the Northeastern United States and the greater Toronto and Hamilton area. After her stint with WWKB, Leslie was unionized nationally and her show airs every night of the week on WWKB.
