For some artists, fame in the entertainment industry is only possible after years of hard work and countless projects that showcase their talent in various works. But for someone like Lexi Walker, she didn’t necessarily have to work for years on the canvas, because her portrayal of Elsa, where she sang “Let It Go” in the Africanized version of Alex Boyé’s cartoon Frozen (which went viral on YouTube), was all she needed to make the world ask questions about who she is. In the original film, Idina Menzel (wife of star actor Taye Diggs) played the character Lexi had portrayed in the song.

If you do not yet know who this young princess with the angel’s voice is, here are details about her background, and if you probably already know something about her, here are more interesting facts about the singer-songwriter, singer, actress, and recording artist.

Lexi Walker Bio (Age)

Lexi Walker was born on March 31, 2001, in Walnut Creek, California, as one of 6 children of her parents. Her family is passionate about music and this explains why she started singing as a child and was encouraged to do so. When she was 11 years old, she enrolled in singing lessons with Tricia Swanson and was inspired by her grandmother, who taught music at a local school for more than 30 years.

Her talent had to take her place as it happened early enough in 2014 when she teamed up with Alex Boyé in his Africanized version of the song “Let It Go”. Lexi played the role of Princess Elsa in the song, which without hesitation went viral on the Internet with millions of hits on various social media platforms like YouTube. Her newly acquired fame brought her guest appearances on television shows and even live musical performances.
