Lisa Byington is an American journalist who currently works as a television announcer for the NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks. Prior to joining the Bucks in September 2021, she was working for NBA Sports as a game-by-game announcer for men’s and women’s soccer during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
Regarding his education, Byington graduated from Portage North High School. She later participated Northwest University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in print journalism. At university, she played basketball and football. After completing her undergraduate degree, she earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University in Evanson, Illinois.
After her graduation, she began her career in Alpena, Michigan for the WBKB. After two years at the WBKB, she left and joined the WLNS in Lansing as a reporter. Throughout her career as a broadcaster, she has also worked as a play-by-play announcer for ESPN, Fox Sports, Big Ten Networks, SEC Network, Turner Sports, FS1, and PAC-12 Pac-12 Network.
