Lloyd Sowers is an American journalist who currently co-anchores the weekend editions of FOX 13 News and covers various stories for other FOX 13 newscasts. Sowers joined the FOX 13 team in February 1987. Sowers has won several awards, including two Emmy Awards and the Florida Bar Association Award for reporting on legal issues. In addition, he received UPI, AP and SPJ awards. Regarding his education, Lloyd received his degree in Journalism from University of West Virginia and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He majored in Speech and English Communication.
