In her first year, Lorde won four New Zealand Music Awards and two Grammy Awards for Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance. Lorde continues to produce critically acclaimed records, has won numerous coveted awards in her native New Zealand, and has brought American singers into serious competition. She has 40 stations and the number is growing…

McDonald’s father supported them, as did Ella’s mother, so much so that he sent a recording of them to Universal Music Group’s A&R, Scott Maclachlanho would sign Lorde for development.
Throughout 2011 Lorde trained with vocal coach Frances Dickinson, who was hired by the UMG to improve her singing skills. During the same period, Lorde improved her songwriting. Royals were released as a single from the EP in June 2013, the rest is history.

In November 2014, exactly one year after signing a publishing deal with Sony Music Entertainment for $2.5 million, Lorde’s net worth was estimated at NZ$11 million, which is almost the same in USD.

Boyfriend
2013 was the year for Lorde not only professionally but also in her love life. At the end of that year, she entered into a relationship with the photographer James Lowe. But dating a top-class musician has its cross. Born in 1990, Lowe became a victim of cyberbullying, and paparazzi couldn’t pass up an opportunity to photograph his comings and goings.

In March 2014, Lowe, who was also born in New Zealand, recorded his blog Ono Field to make a heartfelt post about his relationship with Lorde. In the post entitled “Everyone returns one day”, Lowe first mentions Lorde’s praise before admitting how much he misses her while she’s on tour.
“She is currently on tour on the other side of the world. As much as I miss her, I couldn’t be prouder of what she has achieved so far…”, the photographer writes.
Describing his experience of cyberbullying as a blessing, Lowe said, “Negative aspects are only a small part of my world now,” adding that there was “a bright, shiny silver lining to this thing that I was exposed to.
Despite Lowe’s positive tone about his experiences with the media, their relationship was affected by the breakup in 2015. It was a sad experience for the dear Lorde who made a Taylor Swift by capturing her feelings in the song Green Lights. As she told Zane Lowe on his show Apple Beats 1 Radio, her breakup with Lowe was her “first major heartache.
After her breakup, the rumor about Lorde started with the director of Universal Music Promotions, Justin Warren, after paparazzi cameras discovered her on a beach in New Zealand. Warren immediately exposed the rumors, however. “Ella and I have worked together for years and we’re good friends. All rumors that we are ‘a couple’ are ridiculous,” said Waren.
In early 2018, Lorde was romantically involved with her longtime employee Jack Antonoff. But like Justin, Warren immediately exposed the rumors by posting them on his Twitter page.
