Lorenzo Hall is an American journalist who currently works as a weekend anchor and reporter on WUSA 9. Prior to that, Lorenzo worked at WTIC-TV in Hartford, Connecticut as the main night anchor.
His career started in high school, where he gained more exposure to journalism on KOMU-TV. He later won a contract at WTVR-TV in Richmond, Virginia. He was a night reporter and anchor and also reported on the mistakes of the local leader.
He is one two-time Edward R. Murrow regional award winner and safe eight Emmy awards through his journalistic career. He also worked at KBIA-FM AND KOMU-TV as a general reporter.
In high school, his passion started at Black Entertainment Television’s “Teen Summit” as a “Group Member”. Hall later attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri. He followed and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
For journalism practices, he visited France, Italy, Germany and Belgium. He obtained an Emma L. Bowen Scholarship in Washington for four years during the summer and winter.
