Lucy Owen, also known as Lucy Jane Cohen, is a well-known Welsh television journalist. She currently works as a presenter on BBC One Wales’ flagship news program Wales Today and on the X-Ray network alongside her husband Rhodri Owen. Lucy is also an ambassador for Noah’s Ark Appeal, which raises money for Children’s Hospital Wales.
Jane was born and raised in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales. She completed her secondary education at Howell’s School in Llandaff, Cardiff. Thereafter, she enrolled at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she majored in English. Shortly after university, she was hired as a researcher for BBC Radio Wales before becoming a reporter and co-host for the network.
