Mariah Harrison is an American journalist who works as a traffic anchor for Good Day Tampa Bay on Fox 13. Previously, she worked as a reporter for Fox 13. She joined the station as a journalist and multimedia reporter in January 2018. For the internship, she went to work for ABC 12 News in Flint as a weekend morning producer.
In addition, she was offered a reporter position at WLNS TV 6 based in Lansing, Michigan. There, she served as a part-time reporter and producer, and later as a weekend morning anchor. For three years, she was in Lansing covering the voice of the underprivileged and following political news affecting the entire state. She covered a story about an apartment complex left in a legal limbo where low-income tenants slept in the parking lot instead of their bug-infested unit.
Due to this history, she won the Associated Press and Michigan Association of Broadcasters. In addition, she also did a report on the Lansing school district and helped spark a Title IX Department of Education investigation after two young students were suspended following sexual assaults on the principal. Mariah worked at WLNS as a reporter for 6News This Morning and weekend anchor before joining Fox 13. She also worked at news center 34 as a multimedia journalist.
