She joined ESPN as a general sports writer in 2011 and has worked steadily. Rivera is also a contributor to ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes Radio.

She later worked as a reporter for the New York Yankees. She currently covers ESPNDeportes.com and ESPN.com baseball and frequently contributes to national baseball broadcasts and studio programming for ESPN.

Rivera was a reporter and writer for Univision Communications and editorial producer and author for Major League Baseball Advanced Media before joining ESPN.
