Matt Rivers is a renowned American journalist and is currently the international correspondent for CNN based in Mexico City. He joined CNN in 2015 from CBS 3 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he worked as a reporter. Rivers also worked at KSAT-TV in San Antonio, Texas; and KTSM-TV in El Paso, Texas.
He related several important stories, including the current COVID-19 crisis in Mexico and Brazil. He has spent several weeks this year reporting on the collapse of the country’s healthcare system and delays in vaccine launches, as well as the immigration debate at the US-Mexico border.
