He gained national recognition for playing the role of Alec Lightwood in Freefrom’s Shadowhunters alongside his on-screen brother, Emeraude Toubia, who plays Isabelle Lightwood. He even gained more fame as the younger brother of Bey-watch star and Hollywood actress Alexandra Daddario. Matthew is also known for starring in movies and TV shows such as The Debut (2012), When the Game Stands Tall (2014), Cabin Fever (2016) and Trust (2021).
Daddario was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City. He grew up the son of two intellectual parents who work to bring justice to America. Daddario attended the Collegiate School, where he graduated in the early 2000s. He then enrolled at Bloomington University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bloomington University.
