Maureen O’Boyle is a well-known American television reporter and news anchor, currently working at WBTV News 3 in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. It anchors the weekly report, Stretching Your Dollar. Furthermore, O’Boyle was the anchor of the TV shows “A Current Affair” and “Extra”.

O’Boyle attended and graduated from West Charlotte College in 1981. She immediately joined east carolina university and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

In O’Boyle’s freshman year at East Carolina University, she helped the campus restart its radio station, WZMB. Additionally, Maureen works with numerous charities such as the American Red Cross, Charlotte Relief League, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, the American Heart Association, Dress for Success, and the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas. In November 2010, she appeared in a benefit edition of Slumdog Millionaire?
