Max Bretos biography
Max Bretos is an American journalist who currently works as a sports reporter and sportscaster and is the play-by-play announcer for Los Angeles FC. Prior to that, he hosted ESPN Major League Soccer and SportsCenter for ESPN. He was also the main announcer for Fox Soccer from 2003 to 2010.
Bretos participated in the Judith Weston Acting Studio in Los Angeles, California. Formally, he played for the Santa Monica Rugby Club. He later majored in international relations at Florida State University in 1994.
Bretos worked for Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports World from 1953 to 2009. He was the voice of the first English language, a 24-hour international sports channel. While there, he also worked for Sky Sports in the UK from 2003 to 2006. He also worked for the WWE Company in 2007. In January 2010, this eloquent journalist resigned from the FSC.
