Trey Parker is from Conifer, Colorado, in the United States of America. He was born on October 19, 1969, the son of Sharon Parker, an insurance saleswoman, and Randolph Parker, a geologist. The animator’s birth name is Randolph Severn Parker III, and his older sister’s name is Shelly Parker.

Trey graduated from high school in 1988 and later enrolled at Berklee College of Music, where he only spent one semester. He was then accepted to the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he received a bachelor’s degree upon graduation.

Since obtaining multiple syllable certifications, he has worked on numerous projects with his longtime partner Matt Stone, whom he met during a film class at the University of Colorado. At the time, Stone was also a big fan of the Monty Python group, so it took little or nothing for him to make friends with Parker and then to do fantastic projects with him. Job Application, First Date, Man on Mars, and Orgazmo are among the many projects they have worked on together.

Parker has a strong interest in music theatre, and it all started when he was a teenager. He was one of the choir members of the Flower Drum Song and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, a role he first performed at the age of 14. He later joined the Evergreen Band and also served as a consultant and piano player in his school choir. To date, Trey has written and composed some songs together with renowned artists such as Pharrell Williams, Isaac Hayes, Mary Kay Bergman, and his friend Matt Stone.

All You Need To Know About His Wife and Daughter

Trey Parker, as at the time of writing this article, is single and may be looking for another woman to settle with as a third wife. Until 2019 the animator was married to a retired exotic dancer/sensational stripper named Boogie Tillmon. Although there is no information about how and when they met, many believe that the couple was already connected when Boogie was still a dancer. The couple began to meet shortly after Parker gave up his first marriage to Japanese social sensation Emma Sugiyama, to whom he was briefly married from 2006 to 2008. They did not bear a child for the duration of their relationship.

Trey and Boogie welcomed their first offspring in 2013 and finally formed the bond of marriage the following year. The actor and his ex-wife reportedly stopped living together as husband and wife in March 2019, which led Trey to file for divorce the following month, citing insurmountable differences.

The animator’s daughter is named Betty Boogie Parker. She appeared in some of her father’s videos and played several voice parts in his show South Park. After the dissolution of her parent’s marriage, Betty would have to spend the same number of vacations of the years and weeks of the month with each of her parents, as ordered by the court. Apart from Betty, Boogie has a son from a previous relationship called Kobe.

Before his failed marriages, Parker briefly dated Toddy Walters in 1993, Liane Adamo from 1988 to 1992, Lisa Faulkner from 2000 to 2001, and most recently Nichole Galicia in 2003.

How Did Trey Parker Achieve Success With South Park?

Parker’s love and interest in animation began after seeing the comedy group Monty Python in the sixth grade. After the success of their short film The Spirit of Christmas, he began working with his friend Matt Stone on the development of South Park. The duo finally launched the program on August 13, 1997, with a very large cast of recurring characters in the show.

According to reports, the first animation of South Park was done in the summer of 1996 in a small room at Celluloid Studios in Denver, Colorado, while the pilot episode cost $300,000. The show became one of the most popular shows on cable television immediately after its premiere in 1997 with an average of 3.5 to 5.5 million viewers. After the success of the first 6 series of the show, Comedy Central requested more episodes, and by the end of 1998, the TV station had already sold over $150 million worth of merchandise for the program.

Over the years, Trey was the director and author of the show. To date, 307 episodes of the show have been broadcast, with new episodes scheduled to the air by 2022. South Park still holds the record as one of Comedy Central’s highest-rated shows. The popularity of the show has not only increased the station’s audience but has also brought Trey Parker and his friend great success and fame.

The multi-million dollar company, which documents the exploits of four boys in Colorado City, has won five Primetime Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and a mention in various publications as one of the biggest TV shows. The feature film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999) was adapted from the animated series. Since then the series has been expanded to include video games and music, with which Trey Parker also earns a large sum of money.

In addition to fame, fortune and five Primetime Emmy Awards that Parker has won for his roles in South Park, the savvy entertainment elite can also boast a Grammy Award and 4 Tony Awards for the musical comedy/book The Book of Mormon for 2011. His net worth is currently estimated at 500 million dollars.
