Megan Shaw is a Canadian journalist currently working as an anchor and reporter for CTV News Ottawa. She hosts CTV News at 11:30 pm. Shaw arrived at the station in 2015, and before long, she was a trusted voice in Ottawa. An experienced multi-skilled journalist, she reports, writes, produces and anchors for CTV News Ottawa.
Talking about her education, she attended and graduated from Carleton University with a Masters in Journalism. She also holds a BA with Honors in English and Communication, Media and Film Studies from the University of Windsor. Furthermore, she attended Seneca College on a Broadcast Journalism program. Shaw is fluent in English and French.
After she finished her studies, Shaw started at home working for AM800 CKLW radio. After that, she interned at CTV News Toronto and spoke, before accepting a reporter and anchor position with Peace River Broadcasting. After a while she moved to a big market, joining the CityNews Edmonton team. In 2015, she moved back to Ontario and joined CTV News Ottawa.
