Megan Stalter is an American actress and comedian who is the host of the web series The Negan Stalter Show and the podcast Forever Dog Confronting Demons with Megan Stalter. In her videos, she specializes in desperate and deluded characters prone to theatrics, frequent mispronunciations and unsuccessful suicide attempts.
Born in Cleveland, she moved with her family and lived in Dayton, Huber Heights and Centerville, Ohio. Stalter also grew up in the Pentecostal Church. She attended Wayne High School and was part of the drama club. Later, after graduating from high school, she attended Sinclair Community College and Wright State University. However, she never completed university. She left to try her hand at acting.
She began doing sketches and improvised comedy in Dayton and later moved to Chicago to do comedy full-time. In 2019, she moved to New York and got a manager. She has been declared by critic Joson Zinoman to be “sketch comedy’s newest star” in 2020. Megan is the voice of Bonnie Davis in Tooning Out the News and plays Kayla in Hacks.
