Michelle Imperato is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist currently working as a news anchor at WESH 2 News in Orlando. Previously, she co-hosted the number one morning show on WESH 2’s sister station KSBW in Monterey, California, while working as an investigative reporter for the station. Michelle also served as the anchor/reporter for WLNY-TV 10/55 in New York for the Nightly News at 11.
Imperato is a proud graduate of the State University of New York Westbury where he studied Media and Communications and was part of the Long Island News Tonight at the New York Institute of Technology, where he began working as a reporter.
Michelle has covered a number of notable international, national and local stories as a reporter. Additionally, she co-hosts 2-hour live stream of the search for Boston Marathon bombing suspects Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Michele further investigated harmful black mold clams in apartments in the old Fort Ord. In 2013, Michelle reported live from the devastating Big Sur Wildfire. Michelle reported on the 2008 presidential election and “The Miracle on the Hudson” from New York City.
