Mike Allen is an American political journalist and the co-founder and executive editor of Axios. He was also the former chief political reporter for Politico. He is also the author of the daily newsletters Axios AM and Axios OM. Prior to joining Politico for its 2007 launch, he worked at various publications such as The New York Times and Time.
