Milo Ventimiglia is an American film and television actor who gained fame for making his acting debut in a 1995 drama called The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He also gained national fame for playing the role of Jed Perry in a short-lived 2000 TV drama called Opposite Sex. Milo also became more popular for playing the lead role of Jack Pearson on This Is Us (from 2016 to 2022). His other famous roles are in Rocky Balboa (2006), Creed II (2018), Paotholofy (2008), Grace of Manco (2014), Devil’s Gate (2017) and The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019).
Ventimiglia was born and raised in the suburbs of Anaheim, California. He grew up as the youngest child of an army veteran and his stay-at-home wife. Milo attended El Mode High School in Orange, California. He enjoyed wrestling and participated in several high school theater workshops and productions. Milo even served as student government president before graduating from high school in 1995. Ventimiglia enrolled at the American Conservatory Theater where he began his acting classes. He then honed his acting skills by earning a degree in performing arts from the University of California Los Angeles.
Mile made his screen debut in a 1995 TV series called The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a party guest at the age of eighteen. He then played the role of a gay teenager in an early 2000s short film called Must Be the Music before enrolling at UCLA. Upon his graduation from college, Ventimiglia began pursuing an acting career as a full-time professional.
