Monica Aldama is an American cheerleading coach, known for appearing in Netflix’s popular 2020 TV series Cheer. She also appeared on the TV show Dancing with the Stars. Monica graduated in Corsican Secondary School and later enrolled in Tyler Junior College and joined the cheerleading squad. Unfortunately, she transferred to the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business. She was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. Later, she graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Masters in Business Administration.
Under Aldama’s leadership, the Navarro College Bulldogs have acquired a national reputation for excellence in cheerleading. His teams have won 14 NCA National Championships in their division, as well as five Grand National Designations, since 2000.
