Monica Day is an American Journalist and Anchor from Palm Beach, Florida, currently working as a morning news anchor at NBC4i in Columbus, Ohio since February 2006. She is also famous for being one of the 10 Miss Ohio America semifinalists and is a former -Miss Columbus and Miss Teen Columbus.
Monica is a proud graduate of Whitehall High School. She was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2008, held in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 11, 2008. Additionally, she represented The Buckeye State at the Miss USA pageant where she won the Miss Congeniality title.
NBC4 has hired Monica as a co-anchor for the station’s morning news. Monica, who has been with the network since 2006, will work alongside Matt Barnes, who took over as the show’s co-anchor in January. The move was part of the network’s anchors’ reorganization following the retirement of Cabot Rea, who left NBC4 in December after 30 years of service.
