Monica Pedersen is a renowned American interior designer and television show host. She rose to fame after hosting HGTV Dream Home Giveaway (2011), HGTV’s 2009 Bang for Your Buck, and Designed to Sell (2004). She frequently appears on HGTV’s Bang for Your Buck to critique projects made for home renovations.
Pedersen grew up in the world of home repair and renovation, honing his father’s craft skills. His mother was also operating her sewing machine. She has therefore developed a passion for beautiful fabrics while traveling the world as a successful fashion model and incorporates what she calls a “fabric obsession” into most of her projects.
On HGTV’s Designed to Sell, Pedersen is a trusted expert who shows viewers how to renovate their homes while working within their budget and encourages homeowners to use their creativity.
