Nick Cannon is an American comedian, television host, actor, and rapper on October 8, 1980. He started his television career as a teenager on All That and later hosted shows like “The Nick Cannon Show”, “Wild ‘n Out”, “America’s Got Talent”, “Lip Sync”, “Battle Shorties”, and “The Masked Singer”.

Nicholas Scott Cannon was born on October 8, 1980, in San Diego California. He was mostly raised by his grandfather who both Nick and his biological father considered their dad. As a kid, he grew up in Bay Vista Housing Projects in Lincoln Park an area of Southeast San Diego known for gang activity. During his teenage years, Nick was involved with the Lincoln Park Bloods street gang but he later decided to leave that behind after a close friend passed away.

In 1998, he graduated from Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley. There he was the president of the African Student Coalition and was active in track and field. Nick got his start in stand-up comedy on his father’s local cable public access TV show.
