Originally from Salt Lake, McGurk had the opportunity to work as a journalist across the country. He is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism with a major in broadcast journalism and a major in German.
After graduating, he began his career as an on-air reporter in Clarksburg, where he worked at WBOY-TV. He later moved to WNDU-TV in South Bend, Indiana. Furthermore, he worked at NBC’s KUSA-TV affiliate in Denver, North Colorado, Colorado. He has also worked for CNN, Bloomberg News and Deutsche Welle Radio in Boon, Germany.
Recently, he worked as a reporter for KIRO-TV in Seattle, Washington, United States of America. He is currently a reporter covering news at ABC4 in Utah. When he’s off duty, Nick loves spending time with his family.
