Pamela Anderson is sharing an “intimate” look at her existence in her upcoming memoir.
PEOPLE is sharing Love, Pamela’s comforter, which will be released by HarperCollins and Dey Street Books on January 31, 2023.
“With brilliant prose interspersed with bursts of unique poetry, Love, Pamela is an empowering, moving and intimate memoir” in tune with an authentic release.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Anderson, 55, says the e-book chronicles “simply a girl’s confused existence” and is “a feast of imperfections.”
“These are all my feelings, about my lifestyle – no ‘Woe is me’, even if some cases were difficult,” said the former Baywatch star.
“I did and I had to find love in grace and dignity mixed with humor, popularity and forgiveness.”
Anderson says he didn’t have a Love co-creator, Pamela, “the best editor to befriend and discuss. She noticed me during all of this; a painful lesson in humility, living my life twice has become too frequent once.” The actress and model tells people that she’s “satisfied with the latest product” a good way to launch early next year, “and that it’s on my back.”
“The e-book is a raw, unpolished attempt – a totally personal account of my lifestyle, from my first reminiscence to my last,” she explains.
Anderson has been a household name since the early 1990s, having her major television success in Home Improvement, Days of Our Lives and Baywatch, the latter of which she starred as a series regular from 1992 to 1997. Anderson even made a cameo as his individual Casey Jean “CJ” Parker in the 2017 film Equal Call.
She has appeared in numerous TV series and films over time – notably, 1996’s Barb Wire and a voice role in the early 2000s animated collection Stripperella – and holds the record for maximum Playboy covers. In April, Anderson made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago for a restricted engagement.
In March, Anderson announced that he may roughly reveal his existence in a documentary for Netflix.
Directed by Ryan White of The Keepers, the film is also co-produced with the help of one of Anderson’s children, Brandon Thomas Lee, who she shares with ex-husband Tommy Lee.
