Patricia Boal is a Canadian journalist who currently works as a co-anchor for CTV News at Six, alongside Graham Richardson. She was on the table for live coverage of the tornadoes that hit the Ottawa area in 2018 and was in the flood zone to share the stories of homeowners under siege in 2017.
Boal is a well-educated woman who attended and graduated from McGill University with an honorary bachelor’s degree. She also attended Algonquin College before beginning her broadcasting career with 580 CFRA. While there, she covered Canadian peacekeepers in Bosnia in 1999 and many other stories. Additionally, she did side reporting for CFRA’s Ottawa Rough Riders broadcasts.
Boal began her TV career as the first Ottawa bureau reporter for the Score TV network. At first, she mainly covered the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens. For two seasons, she hosted Sens pay-per-view games as part of the SENSTV team. She is a very active member of society, serving as an honorary board member of STRIDE Assistance for the Disable.
