Phil Keating is an American journalist who currently works as a national correspondent for the FOX News Channel based in Miami, Florida. Keating is famous for covering several important stories and news updates such as the death of Anna Nicole Smith and the lengthy murder trial of Jose Padilla. Previously, he worked as an anchor and lead reporter for KUSA News in Las Vegas, Denver and KDVR News in Colorado.
Keating attended a local high school in his hometown and later graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Communications from University of Missouri in Colombia.
After graduating, he started his career as a broadcast journalist in 1990, working as a trainee reporter and photographer at WMAZ News in Georgia. After his service with WMAZ, he left the station to join WBNS-TV in Columbus Ohio as a correspondent. He also worked at KHQ TV in Spokane.
Keating then joined KUSA NBC 9 news in Denver for two years before joining Fox News Channel.
