Phil Shuman biography
Phil Shuman is an Emmy Award-winning reporter and anchor from Southern California who is currently working on KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles since February 2002. He is an investigative reporter for the unit “FOX 11 Investigates” and also a deputy anchor for FOX 11. News at 10.
Shuman attended Williams College in Massachusetts and graduated from Cum Laude with a BA in Economics. Phil began his journalistic career as a reporter, anchor and sportscaster at KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas, an affiliate of NBC. Furthermore, Shuman moved to KWTV, the CBS station in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He later moved to Los Angeles and KNBC.
Prior to joining FOX, Phil traveled the world as a Los Angeles-based news correspondent for the nationally distributed magazine program EXTRA. Prior to that, Shuman spent 13 years with Channel 4 News in Los Angeles as part of KNBC-TV 11pm. The Channel 4 News Nightside and was also a contributor to NBC Network News.
