Priya Mann is a Canadian journalist who currently serves as a reporter and storyteller on Local 4 WDIV. Prior to joining Local 4 News, Mann worked for CTV and CFJC News as a cameraman. She grew up near Toronto, Ontario, and knew she wanted to be a reporter from an early age. Priya earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Brock University and a graduate degree in advanced journalism from Humber College.
She began her career in Mississauga as a volunteer reporter for Rogers Television Peel. Her first job took her to CFJC News in Kamloops, British Columbia in 2008. She worked as a video journalist, which meant she filmed, wrote and edited her own short stories. For her story “Remembering Afghanistan”, Priya received a prestigious RTDNA award.
