Randy Price is a renowned American television personality known for working with WCVB-TV in Boston, Massachusetts. He landed the role in 2009 after moving from WHDH-TV, where he served as the main anchor since 1998. However, Randy retired on May 20, 2020. He then returned to Massachusetts to join the EyeOpener team while the WCVB broadcast the parade on TV for the first time.
A unique consideration that most of its members can always testify to is that Price was the first American broadcaster to be openly gay. Prior to his resignation, Randy was broadcasting live news coverage; weekday mornings on WCVB Channel 5, WCVB.com and WCVB mobile apps.
