Ruthie Polinsky is an American journalist who currently works as a sports anchor and multimedia journalist for NBC6 South Florida (WTVJ). It covers all South Florida professional teams, including the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, Florida Panthers and Inter Miami.
Prior to arriving in South Florida, Polinsky was a sports anchor/reporter at WPRI in Providence, RI (2017-2020). She was also a weekend sports anchor at KFDX in Wichita Falls, TX (2015-2017).
Polinsky returned to The Mitten State after high school and graduated from the University of Michigan in May 2015 with a double degree in communications and drama. During her time at college, she returned home to St. Louis during his summers, spending three years working for the St. Louis Cardinals as a member of “Team Fredbird” and host of the stadium.
In Wichita Falls, she covered the sports teams at Midwestern State, an NCAA Division II university where she saw men’s soccer and basketball win the conference champions.
