Ryan Haidet is an American journalist who currently works as an Executive Digital Producer at WKYC Studios in Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America. Haidet specializes in digital content and social media. He joined the station in April 2011 as a member of the Metromix entertainment team before being absorbed into the news division.
Since then, he has been promoted a few times for his work with the WKYC morning team. He was named the station’s first digital content executive producer in 2017. Additionally, his work has earned him two Emmy wins and nine total nominations.
Talking about his education, he attended and graduated from Springfield High School in 2002. He later attended Kent State University with a BA in Journalism. He spent four years at the Rubber City Group in Akron as an on-air contributor with 94.9 WQMX.
