Biography of Sam Rubin

Sam Rubin is an American journalist who is currently the entertainment anchor for the KTLA Morning News and a correspondent for Reelz’s production, Hollywood Dailies. Rubin hosts the Live From the Academy Awards and celebrity talk show Hollywood Uncensored with Sam Rubin. He has reported for the entertainment industry for over 20 years interviewing many Hollywood stars, including Tom Hanks, Mel Gibson, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, Samuel L. Jackson and Larry King.

Additionally, Sam has co-authored two biographies, one on former First Lady Jacqueline Onassis and one on actress Mia Farrow. He is also a regular reporter for Hollywood Entertainment in the UK on ITV’s This Morning.

Additionally, Sam received the Golden Mike Award for Outstanding Entertainment Reporter and an Associated Press Television and Radio Award as part of the KTLA News Team Morning Show. He graduated from Occidental College with a BA in American Studies and Rhetoric in 1982.
