Sarah Rudlang is an American Emmy-winning journalist who has worked as an anchor and reporter on Spectrum News 1 since April 2021. Previously, she worked as a morning anchor at WDAY-TV based in Fargo, North Carolina, as a morning show anchor, in addition to being a reporter, anchor and producer from May 2017 to April 2021.
Rudland is a Minnesota native and is excited to trade the freezing storms for the beautiful beaches and mountains of North Carolina. In 2012, she joined Central Lakes College and graduated in 2014 with an Associate of Arts. In college, she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society as well as the National Honors Society. This led to her joining Minneapolis-based WCCO-TV, where she helped a team of award-winning journalists pursue stories.
