Scott Thuman is an American journalist currently working as a political correspondent for the Sinclair Broadcast Group. He is known for reporting the nightly newscasts live from the White House Capitol and international affairs. Scott’s most famous and compelling news includes coverage of military action and terrorism, among other stories. It even provides live reports from South America, Europe and other countries. Prior to joining the Sinclair group, Scott worked as a news anchor and correspondent for WJAL News based in Washington DC.

Thuman was born and raised in a small suburban neighborhood situated in Washington DC. He grew up as the middle child in his family, who always grew up making his parents proud by doing well in school. Thuman attended Martin County High School located in Stuart Florida. He then enrolled at Lakeland-based Florida Southern College, where he majored in broadcast journalism. He then attended the FBI Citizens Academy at the Washington Field Office.

Thuman began his career working as a political correspondent for WJLA News. He spent nine years covering various interviews with former US President Barrack Obama and the 2012 presidential campaign. Scott even delivered an extensive full report on critical comments about Mitt Tomney and his time in leadership. In 2013, Scott left WJLA to briefly work as a co-anchor on Good Morning Washington Morning News on ABC 7. Eventually, he returned to working as a full-time political correspondent for ABC 7 News until he landed his current job with Sinclair. Scott now works as a political correspondent and news anchor for the Sinclair Broadcast Group.
