Scott Van Pelt is a famous American sportscaster and sports talk show host. In addition, he also co-anchored the 11 p.m. edition of Sportscenter in ESPN and worked as a co-host for SVP and Russillo.
As for his academics, Scott attended Flower Valley Elementary School in Rockville, Maryland. He later graduated and joined Sherwood High School in Sandy Springs, Maryland. Furthermore, after completing high school, he attended the University of Maryland where he studied radio/television and film and graduated in 1988.
Pelt began his career in broadcasting in the early 1990s. He worked at several stations, including WTTG-TV, a Fox affiliate in Washington, and the Golf Channel. He was a studio host for some of the network’s major programs. However, he left the channel in 2001 to join ESPN, serving as a sportscaster.
Additionally, later in 2009, Van Pelt began co-hosting the SVP and Rusillo show on ESPN, which he later left in 2015. He has also served as a commentator on golf video games alongside stars such as Kelly Tilghman and Tiger Woods.
