Chinsea Linda Lee, known professionally as Shenseea, is a Jamaican dancehall singer. Shenseea becomes famous after collaborating with popular artists like Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul and Christina Aguilera. In 2019, she signed a recording contract with Interscope Records and released the song “Blessed” featuring Tyga. Furthermore, Linda won Best Reggae Artist at the 2021 MOBO Awards.
Born and raised in Mandeville, Jamaica. Linda completed her schooling at Mona High School and later enrolled at Exed Community College where she majored in Entertainment Management. However, due to financial problems, she did not complete the course. Shenseea made her first collaboration with Jahmiel in 2013 and released a song called “Tell Me”. Subsequently, a new door opened for her where she was seen in some product endorsement deals, constant performance and several high-profile collaborations.
Furthermore, Chinsea has collaborated with two popular celebrities who are Vybz Kartel and Sean Paul. In 2021, Shenseea released the songs “No Limit”, “Donda” and “Run Run” and appeared on one of the many remixes of SpotemGottem’s single “Beat Box”. year and Grammy Awards, marking his first Grammy nomination.
Furthermore, Shenseea has also signed Wassim Slaiby aka Salxo who manages the Weeknd and Doja Cat. She won Best Reggae Artist at the 2021 MOBO Awards. As of 2022, she has released the song “Lick” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The song is included on her debut album, Alpha, released on March 11, 2022. She has amassed over 2.3 million subscribers as well as 675 million views and counting.
