Sterling Poulson is an American meteorologist who currently serves as the chief meteorologist at KUTV 2News. He can be seen on the 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. newscasts Monday through Friday. Sterling has worked as an anchor and weather producer for the 2News team since 1989.
He obtained his degree in meteorology from University of Utah and spent his time with the U.S. Air Force. During his time with the military branch, he was also assigned to several meteorological installations and served under the supervision of the Air Force Global Weather Center. He also served in Vietnam for over thirteen months.
Poulson has currently worked at KUTV 2News as the chief meteorologist since 1989. He can be seen on the station’s newscasts at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m., Monday through Friday.
