Taniya Nayak is an Indian-American television personality and interior designer who is known as an expert design member on HGTV and Food Network. Furthermore, she owns a successful Boston-based interior design company, Taniya Nayak Design, Inc. Nayak is also a brand ambassador for Ellen Degeners’ QVC line called “ED on Air”.
She attended Weymouth High School and graduated in 1991. She later attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell and majored in Marketing. After that, she attended Boston Architectural College where she did her Masters in Interior Design.
Soon after graduating, she got a job on the ABC family show. She co-hosted the show and presented her work alongside 3 other designers. After leaving the show, she joined Desenhado to sell on the HGTV network and helped people prepare and add value to their homes. Nayak gained popularity on the show and later managed her own personal show called Destination Design.
Furthermore, she hosted House on Vacation which was the spin-off of the hit HGTV show House Hunters. She has also hosted several other shows on HGTV including Billion Dollar Block and is also a regular guest on Restaurant: Impossible on the Food Network.
