Taylor Mathis is an American television personality and sports presenter who is famous for her time as a sports reporter for Sports Monckery’s Facebook Live show covering Chicago sports. Prior to that, she worked for College PrimeTime as a social media ambassador.
Most notably, she got her first introduction to the world of sports at the age of 5. Her grandfather took her to a local baseball game, where Taylor became addicted to the atmosphere and the game. Taylor was particularly fascinated by the side reporters. Her interests continued to grow, and by age 7, she was able to fill out a sports card.
Following her passion, she attended Sandwich Community High School, where she grew up enjoying and performing in theater. She later went to the University of Iowa to study journalism and graduated in 2015 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and a specialization in Sports Studies.
