Georgeta Orlovschi Is Originally From Romania
Stan’s mother Georgeta is from Romania. But she decided to defy the communist Romanian regime and eventually fled the country because she wanted a better life for her son.
Orlovsci’s life before her son’s stardom is an extremely undocumented business. Her date of birth, much less her origins, is, therefore, a huge mystery.

Well, Orlovschi was married in the past and is also the father of her child Stan. However, she and her husband divorced when the Winter Soldier role was two years old. She eventually moved to Vienna, Austria, when Sebastian was only eight years old. There she got a job as a pianist.
Four years later, she picked up her son and moved to the Rockland area in New York. After arriving in the States, his mother married Anthony Fruhauf, then principal of the Rockland County Day School.
In an interview, Stan revealed that his biological father was still in America, but on the West Coast. visit him on a filming trip to Los Angeles. The actor said that both parents maintained his interest in Romania.

Georgeta’s son Stan fell in love with acting at Stagedoor Manor, the famous performing arts camp in Catskills where stars like Natalie Portman, Zach Braff, and Mandy Moore trained.
The Ridgers University graduate spent his summers playing roles in musicals such as Grease and Sweet Charity and met the manager. By the time he was a senior in high school, he was looking for schools where he could study acting.
Stan chose the drama department at Rutgers University in New Jersey and studied Shakespeare abroad for a year at the Globe Theatre.
While Sebastian was completing his undergraduate studies, he starred in independent films and landed the lead role in the 2003 season finale of Law & Order, a series based on the Washington sniper shootings. In an interview, he revealed that it was his first real professional experience.

The Romanian’s son Stan made his film debut in 2007 in Renny Harlin’s Lost Boys-esque supernatural thriller The Covenant.
The Covenant attracted Stan’s young fans, creating fan sites and a lot of interest on his personal myspace page. The actor said he joined myspace a long time ago for a different reason.

Georgeta Orlovschi Didn’t Let Her Son Forget Romanian
In an interview, Georgeta’s son Stan mentioned how he is still so fluent in Romanian, finding words in Romanian as the conversation goes on.
When asked how his Romanian is still in good shape, Stan replied by saying that he owes it all to his mother Orlovsci. The Captain America actor explained that if it had been just him, he would not have been able to speak Romanian.
Fortunately, Stan had a mother and father who did not let him forget his mother tongue. The now 39-year-old actor also said that he still speaks Romanian when talking to his father.
Looking back, Stan’s practice of speaking Romanian with his mother and father made it difficult for him to speak English without an accent. He said that he remembers that there was a year during which he spoke English in a patronizing way. And the fact that his mother continued to speak to him in Romanian did not help much either.
What Is Orlovschi Doing Now?
Although Stan has not mentioned whether he still lives with his mother, it is believed that the Orlovšši are pretty much in contact with their son, if not under the same roof.
