Tia Ewing is an American journalist who currently works as an anchor and reporter for FOX 32 News in Chicago, Illinois. She has won several Emmy awards for her work.
Tia’s passion for broadcast journalism began in her hometown of “Chicago”, where she was born and raised. She feels incredibly honored and delighted to be back in the Windy City. She has a large family who was also born and raised in Chicago and now resides there.
Also, Ewing remembers walking with his mother around the west loop on Chicago’s west side when they came across a “big” HARPO sign. She was in a queue for several blocks and wanted to know what HARPO was.
Tia discovered that HARPO was a multimedia production company started by Oprah Winfrey after doing some investigation. She was inspired by Oprah and decided to pursue a career as a journalist.
Ewing obtained a BA in English from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the Point Park University.
Aunt started her career at WNEM, a television station in Flint, Michigan, where he worked as an anchor and reporter. She related stories including an unscrupulous town house building project, the gruesome murder and murder case of Dominick Calhoun, a 4-year-old boy, and even former Vice President Joe Biden.
