Tim Wonnacott is an English auctioneer, surveyor, antiquity and television presenter. He became famous for his appearance on Bargain Hunt, which is a BBC daytime programme. He worked at the network from 2003 to 2015 and was the narrator of Antique Road Trip. Previously, he was director of Sotheby’s, one of the oldest auction houses in the world.
Wonnacott attended West Buckland School in Devon and later enrolled at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where he took a postgraduate course in fine and decorative arts. This was after he qualified as an auctioneer and surveyor.
