Werner reached his 50 Bundesliga goals in the 2018/19 season, becoming the first RB Leipzig player to score 50 goals. During the 2019/20 season, he scored his first Bundesliga hat-trick.
After a four-year stay at RB Leipzig, Timo has reached an agreement to join Chelsea FC in June 2020, where he is officially set to join the team in July 2020.
