Todd Starnes is an American conservative columnist, commentator, author, and radio host. He currently works as a ToddCast podcast and is also the owner and founder of ToddStarnes.com. Todd has been on the Fox News Channel for over a decade. However, in 2019 he was fired from the broadcaster after reaching an agreement with one of his guests.
Starnes was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he studied communications. Where there he worked as an editor for the college newspaper. He joined Fox News Channel in 2005 as a radio news anchor. He also worked at KFBK in Sacramento, California as a reporter and anchor. While at Fox, he hosted one of the network’s top radio shows. He was also one of the network’s most popular columnists. In his final year at Fox, he hosted “Starnes Country” on Fox Nation.
In addition to being an anchor, Todd is also an author who has written books such as “The Deplorables Guide to Making America Great Again” and “God Less America”. In addition, he has received numerous awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Associated Press Mark Twain Award for Storytelling. In addition, Starnes is also a frequent speaker at churches, Christian conferences and Christian universities.
