Vedika Sud is an American reporter who currently serves as a CNN reporter based in the Delhi office, where her responsibility is to lead the editorial agenda and news gathering in India and the region. Furthermore, she broadcasts from India for over 13 years.
Furthermore, she has also worked with English speaking countries such as India Today, NewsX and Times Network as a prime time anchor, reporter and producer from June 2006 to October. Later, in February 2011, she moved to work as an anchor and senior producer at NewsX and left the station in October 2012 to join India Today. However, she left India Today in October 2019 and joined CNN in January 2020 and has been there ever since.
Throughout her career, she has covered numerous stories such as national and regional elections, politics, terrorist attacks, social and gender equality, as well as environmental issues. A Mumbai native, she graduated from Sophia College for Women in Mumbai in English Literature in 2005.
