Will DuPree is an Emmy award-winning American broadcast journalist currently working as a news reporter for KXAN News based in Austin, Texas. He joined the station back in 2018 after completing a ten year tenure with KJRH NBC News based in Tulsa Oklahoma. Therefore, Will has over ten years of broadcasting experience since he graduated from the University. DuPree even worked as a fill-in anchor for KAIT News in Arkansas. His most famous news stories and reports at KXAN News include covering political news updates and other stories from Central Texas.

DuPree was born and brought up in a small town situated in the northeastern part of Arkansas. He grew up with a strong sense and passion for broadcasting ever since she was 11 years old. Will finished his middle school and high school education situated in his hometown. He excelled very well and enrolled at Northwestern University and graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in Science and Journalism class of 2010.

Will began his career as a journalist by working as a Fill-in anchor for KAIT News as a Video Journalist. He joined the station just a few years after his college graduation. Will left KJRH and joined KXAN News in 2018. He enjoys watching the latest movies, reading and news restaurants whenever he is off duty from kXAN News.
